If you’ve seen classic rock’s most eccentric unicorn live multiple times (David Bowie was a chameleon, thank you very much), you probably remember at least one moment of significance per show.

Whether Todd Rundgren was performing “Butter on a Pop Tart” with Daryl Hall sitting backstage, or performing his album A Wizard, A True Star in its entirety, the next trick up his sleeve will see him at the forefront of a traveling tribute to songwriting legend Burt Bacharach, who died in 2023.

The 76-year-old will be joined onstage by Bacharach musical director Rob Shirakbari and “The Voice” runner-up Wendy Moten for this St. Pete show, which continues his tradition of rolling into town just about annually.

Tickets to see Todd Rundgren play Duke Energy Center for the Arts at Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg on Tuesday, April 22 are still available and start at $39.
