This Sunday at New World Brewery finds a trio of dine Tampa locals staging in benefit of Mikaela Arnold, who is aa junior studying digital media at UT. Seasons After w/Gears Seasons After, the embattled quartet from Kansas, has taken the hard road to music relevance a decade after its inception. James and James: At the Movies w/Whitney James/James Suggs/La Lucha Sometimes you can hear Whitney James playing DJ on WUSF’s All Night Jazz, but the vocalist is teaming up with trumpeter James Suggs for a silver-screen affair that pits arrangements composed for movies (think Round Midnight and Lush Life) against Miles Davis and Duke Ellington tunes from flicks like Ascenseur pour l’échafau and Anatomy of a Murder. Backing the pair for this sweet show? Best of the Bay winning jazz collective La Lucha. (Palladium Theater, St. Petersburg) INFO

Beach House Sundays w/3LAU It’s Sunday Fun-day, and you know where our summer intern LJ is going to be. There are only three events left as he nears the end of his run at CL, and this one features rising Vegas-based electro house producer 3LAU. (Shephard’s Beach Resort, Clearwater) INFO—LJH

Vesperteen w/DBMK After ten years of touring the world and recording with House of Heroes, Colin Rigsby thought he had enough of music. Upon leaving the band he realized that just wasn’t the case. Shortly thereafter, he began writing and performing songs on his own as an independent artist, eventually creating a self titled EP of pop-rock in the process. Hear it live, and see DBMK open the show, on Sunday. (Crowbar, Ybor City) INFO—LJH
