Niykee Heaton UPDATE: It looks like scheduling conflicts have caused a cancellation of this show. If you haven't heard and need refund info, then have a look at an update the venue posted on Facebook last week.
It’s been a month since Niykee Heaton had to cancel shows due to strep throat, so the 21-year-old self-proclaimed singing centerfold should be all healed and rested for a stop in Ybor City where she’ll support The Bedroom Tour Playlist, a new mixtape of pop and R&B that you can play at work. Her live show (complete with not a lot of clothing and questionable dance routines) should probably be explored away from the company WiFi connection. (The Ritz, Ybor City) INFO
California Guitar Trio Holiday Show Members of California Guitar Trio actually come from Salt Lake City, Affligem (Belgium) and Tokyo. They'll be in Largo tonight paying tribute to the sounds of the surf rock, jazz, classical and world music bands that have influenced them. With more than a dozen releases, the band will have enough material to go all night long. (Central Park Performing Arts Center, Largo) INFO

Sewage (NYC Punk Rock) w/Dead Cat Lounge If you can't find the Doghouse (read below) or would rather be at the bar when you catch a punk show, then head to the Bends where Sewage, who came up in the early 90s, stop in all the way from New York City. Local outfit Dead Cat Lounge open the show. (The Bends,St Petersburg) INFO
Weak Wrists w/Spit/Senketsu You'll have to ask someone where this all ages, inclusive show is happening, and it'll be worth it for anyone especially interested in thrashy, screamo or hardcore. Weak Wrists is coming all the way from North Carolina in support of a self-titled 2016 LP, which you can sample below. Powerviolence outfit Spit are on the bill along with a new St. Pete hardcore band Senketsu. (Doghouse, You Better Ask Somebody) INFO
