A trio of noteworthy shows happening this second day of November. Breakdown below.

The Growlers with Broncho
Two solid quality indie rock bands are repped on this Monday night bill. Cali-spawned outfit The Growlers push surf-stained vintage-vibing psych-garage they’ve dubbed ‘beach goth,’ while Oklahoma trio Broncho amps up the reverb-fuzz and Lou Reed-blasé vocal stylings into a bouncy, jangly feel good brew lightly dosed in ‘70s post-punk and power-pop hues. (Crowbar, Ybor City)

Carnifex with Within The Ruins, Black Tongue, Lorna Shore, The Last Ten Seconds Of Life Bringing hopeless deathcore crush and burn to head-whipping audiences for the past decade (excluding the year-long hiatus that ended in 2013), San Diego’s Carnifex actually recorded fifth album Die Without Hope in Sanford, Fla., and parted ways with longtime label Victory Records to release it via Nuclear Blast last year. (Orpheum, Ybor City)

The Gas House Gorillas with The Bath Salt Zombies The third noteworthy show happening this first Monday in November comes from Brooklyn’s Gas House Gorillas, plying a muscular blend of jumping blues, swinging rockabilly and punk-kicking Americana since 2003. (Ringside Café, St. Petersburg)
