A few shows that should be on your radar are happening on this Wed., March 9. Take a look at the breakdown below.

Twin Limb
The Louisville trio purveys a blend of dreamy atmospheric pop and psychedelic folk-tronica studded in glitch, fuzz and static, rinsed in washes of percussion, decorated with layers of samples and found sounds, held together by the sultry and sweet calls of Maryliz Bender (percs, guitar) and fellow collaborator Lacey Guthrie (accordion, keys) as joined by more recent bandmate Kevin Ratterman (electronics, pedals, effects, guitar), and marked by bass-droning accordion and rhythms that are at turns marching tight and loosely tribal. (Local 662, St. Petersburg)

Au Revoir with Mountain Holler, Infinite Third, Gullwing With a sluice of reverbed notes that rise in strength and intensity before dissolving into a series of intersecting guitar passages, thick gritty basslines and steady drumbeats, Au Revoir launches “The Bottom,” the first track off latest recording Veles. The New Jersey outfit builds soundwashes with a trio of guitars, mixing crunchier-textured tones with wailing solos and adding howling vocals and quiet measured interludes and ascending climaxes that bring drama to the band’s style of post-metal drone. (Fubar, St. Petersburg)
