Gucci Mane crew member Waka Flocka Flame (pictured) is back at The Ritz on Thanksgiving Eve, where he last landed Tampa in 2017. The Atlanta rapper and reality TV star, got noticed thanks to his 2009 single “O Let’s Do It.” Waka keeps threatening retirement and hasn’t put out an album in a couple years, so this may be a last chance to see the critically-acclaimed “Flockaveli.” Best of the Bay-winning emcee Pusha Preme recently announced he’ll be opening that show. If you’re drinking your future Turkey Day cares away, don’t drive; I don’t think they show the Macy’s Day Parade at Faulkenberg.
And if you need to be at The Ritz sooner, “Still Tippin’” rapper Mike Jones hits the Ybor City venue the Monday before (Nov. 22) Waka Flocka Flame’s show (if you work in the hospitality business, you get in free).
