Well, you may love it or hate it, but twerking officially reached Springsteen-ian levels on
the last stop of Bruce Springsteen's Australian tour at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre (via Billboard).

It happened at the beginning of a marathon, four-hour show as the house lights dimmed before Springsteen, 64, doled out sparse acoustic guitar chords, summoned a trumpet to blare out into the darkness, and growled out the opening lines to the Bee Gee's "Stayin' Alive." The cover eventually unfolded into a full-on New Jersey-flavored tribute to one of the finest disco outfits ever to come out of Australia (perhaps the only notable disco outfit from Down Under?). Backup singers shouted and twirled, Max Weinberg looked as Max Weinberg as ever, and Tom Morello almost Rage-d on a guitar solo. But the highlight was a group twerk from The Boss and his horn section.

Have a look at the fan shot video below, and remember that Bruce is coming to town on May 1. The show takes place at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre (4802 U.S. 301 N., Tampa) and tickets start at $35. More info is available via LiveNation. No guarantees on e a cover of "Twerk For Tampa", though.
