After seven years away, Weekend Nachos is back, and seemingly tighter than ever. The Chicago-based hardcore outfit was on good terms during its breakup process, but simply felt that it was time to hang up the self-deprecating lyrics after 12 years.

Since the split, guitarist Andy Nelson and singer John Hoffman kept busy, collaborating with seemingly anybody who’s anybody on the scene, but the days of yore (aka 2011) will be revisited, when Weekend Nachos runs through more than half of its fourth album Worthless and more.

Cold Steel, Contention, Plague Spitter, and Migrant Fury open.

Tickets to see Weekend Nachos play Orpheum in Tampa on Sunday, Aug. 11 are still available and start at $25.
