A year after Honey Pot announced its closure in Ybor City, there’s new life coming to the club parked at 1507 E 7th Ave.

That’s thanks to a collective of house-leaning DJs led by Brian Busto, who’re teaming up to launch PTL Ybor—it stands for power, truth and love—in a space that’s long been home to some of the Tampa music scene’s most forward-thinking minds.

Busto—together with Cicale, Jason Kitchen, Lyndon, Pedro M and more are on the bill for  the “Come Together” Saturday, July 16 PTL Ybor Launch party that kicks off at 9 p.m.

New ownership is different from the folks who ran Honey Pot (records show the building linked to PTL Marvels Inc), and a rep for the venue told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that the new owners are not talking to press at the time.
