You’re not hallucinating. Mike Peters is still fronting ‘80s new wave band The Alarm, and he’s bringing the group to Ferg’s in St. Petersburg. The addition of Modern English (still with its singer Robbie Grey) is all the more reason to believe in hot tub time machines, but Jay Aston’s Gene Loves Jezebel pretty much seals the deal for any 40-somethings still on the fence about spending a Sunday in the ‘Burg.
The best part? You can get in for free by donating something for Hurricane Dorian relief.
“Bring two canned food goods or bottled water and get in the show for Free,” Ferg’s said in a release. “All canned food and water items will be given to a hurricane relief organization to be delivered to the Bahamas and areas affected by Hurricane Dorian. Free entry is up to venue capacity. All ages are welcome. Show is rain or shine.”
Another way to get in for free? Show your ticket stub from the Tampa Bay Rays v. Toronto Blue Jays game.
