Local favorite Abortion Twins (pictured) is among many acts performing at the “Covid Punks Blank Off Xmas Show” at St. Pete’s VFW 39 Saturday night. Some of the night’s proceeds will benefit the Veterans of Foreign Wars bar, which is also open to the public.

In addition to a mask requirement and checking temperatures before entering, a representative from VFW told CL via email that “the door on central will be open so that some can enjoy the music, from the outside.” Event coordinator John C. Stephenson, of Ride the Wave Entertainment, confirmed he’ll be supplying hand sanitizer at the door, but it’s also best to bring your own nowadays.
