Ahead of Clearwater Jazz Holiday, Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins appear in new Thundercat video — watch "Show You The Way" now

McDonald and Loggins play Coachman Park on October 21.

On Tuesday, Grammy-winning bassist Thundercat spent the evening blasting about 5 million bass guitar notes into The Beacham in Orlando, Florida, and while cuts from Drunk — Thundercat's latest, and critically-acclaimed album — were every bit as funky and fun-to-follow as advertised, we couldn't have helped but wish that the 'Cat would be in town next weekend when Michael McDonald and Kenny Loggins play the Clearwater Jazz Holiday on October 21.

Luckily we've got a new video for "Show You the Way" (featuring Loggins and McDonald) to hold us over for now.

The song was an unofficial summer anthem, but the clip takes a little more serious turn as the trio helps a man down on his luck see the brighter side of things. Longtime fans will pick up on the fact the the video follows the spiritual journey of the samurai featured in 2015’s “Them Changes” video.
