Can’t wait for Alice In Chains’ stop at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre this fall?

You’ve still got a few months left, but in the meantime, the band’s creative force, lyrically speaking, Jerry Cantrell is promoting new music of his own on a tour that stops in St. Petersburg next week.

His third solo album Brighten came out last fall, and most likely in an effort to get his voice and hands ready for the Chains tour, the 56-year-old is hitting the road on his own, performing new tunes and the ones that put him on the map in the first place.

Breaking Benjamin and Bush won’t be present, but Lola Colette—who did piano work for the “Guardians of the Galaxy” soundtracks in her teens—does warm up the crowd with her own singer-songwriter work.
