'America's Got Talent' contestant Macey Mac will play Florida Aquarium's Tampa Teen Music Series next week

The summer concert series showcases young, passionate talents local to the Bay area.

Macey Mac is country artist at heart that intertwines influences of blues, rock and gospel into her original music.
Music sounds good underwater and you can find out for yourself in downtown Tampa every Thursday this month.

will showcase her bluesy, soulful sound at the Florida Aquarium's Tampa Teen Music Series next week on Thursday, June 23 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Mac, who's been performing in front of large crowd since she was 11 and received a standing ovation on "America's Got Talent," is a country artist at heart, who intertwines influences of blues, rock and gospel into her original music. Her musical inspirations include a genre mixture of Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin and Elvis Presley.

Alongside her vocal capabilities, the singer songwriter can play multiple instruments, including the guitar, mandolin, banjo and boot-stomping tambourine.

The Tampa Teen Music Series is a summer concert series showcasing young, passionate musicians local to the Bay area and takes place every Thursday throughout the month of June. 

The series has already showcased the likes of talent such as 14-year-old country artist JudyAnne Jackson, classic rock musician Luke Giese and piano-playing singer Leon Vincent. Vincent will return to perform at the series' finale on June 30.
