Argentinian garage-rocker Tall Juan—not to be confused with Uruguayan acoustic indie singer Juan Wauters—arrives in promotion of his latest group of songs, Tall Juan Plays Cumbia. He’s been spreading his fuzzy rock and roll around the world ever since his first EP—2015’s Why Not?, recorded and mixed by Mac Demarco—introduced him to the global rock scene.

Even non-Spanish speakers will get the gist of the emotional and adrenaline-filled songs from Juan’s notoriously-energetic performances.

Tampa rock and roll band Fever Beam opens with its last show before heading to SXSW in Texas.

Tall Juan w/Fever Beam/Razor and the Boogiemen. Wed. March 4, 9 p.m. No cover. The Bends, St. Petersburg. INFO
