UPDATED 5/30 3:24 p.m.
Tampa and Orlando are going to have to wait to taste Ariana Grande’s Sweetener in real life. The singer postponed the shows on Tuesday afternoon, just hours before doors at her May 28 show at Tampa’s Amalie Arena.
Grande, 25, was scheduled to perform at Amway Center in Orlando on Wednesday, May 29. A press release cites illness as the reason for the postponement.
And by illness, Grande meant an unknown tomato allergy.
Tickets for both shows will be honored at makeup shows on November 24 (Tampa) and 25 (Orlando). Refunds are available at point of purchase, but customers who bought through third parties (ie: Stubhub) will have to contact their point of purchase for refunds.
“Ariana is sorry to disappoint her fans and will look forward to seeing them in November,” the release says.
