Metal on Monday? Yes, especially since this show finds Thrill Jockey favorite The Body bringing its experimental approach to the genre to Crowbar in support of a 2018 album, I Have Fought Against It, But I Can’t Any Longer. “Innovative” is a good word to describe what Lee Buford and Chip King do onstage, but you might as well show up and let all of the influences (you can hear everything from hip-hop to classical and bass music in there) smack you right in the ear holes. Lingua Ignota — the music project of Rhode Island interdisciplinary artist, composer, and performer Kristin Hayter — opens this show along with Tampa Bay’s own Vacancy.
