The pandemic has not stopped Damon Fowler one second, and it’s led the Brandon bluesman—who recently played slide on Dickey Betts’ 2018 tour—to an eighth album, Alafia Moon, which he’ll celebrate at a Saturday release show staged at New World Brewery’s Sulphur Springs music hall (songwriter Jeff White plays a separate, non-ticketed show outside in the biergarten).
The title track brings the accessibility of Chris Stapleton, but with Fowler’s own massive talent and Florida style.
The room is booked out at just 25% capacity—and seats are sold in groups of four or six—so advanced tickets are encouraged. And if you’re not leaving your house, Fowler has a separate livestream happening on Friday via Palladium Live, which is available to watch up to 48 hours after the performance.
