Floridian Social’s recurring tip of the cap to the shuttered State Theatre continues with a set by Geri X. In the summer of 2011—the same year We The Kings, Clutch and the late Mac Miller played State—she was featured inside a Bulgarian edition of Rolling Stone as part of the “Best of Rock” package (Adele was on the cover).

The 34-year-old with a siren of a vocal to go with hypnotically-melodic folk is back at 687 Central Ave. and says she may play a few new songs at the gig.

Floridian Social's Sunday, June 3 show with Geri X, Emily Turnage and Proud Miranda is free with an RSVP, but $10 at the door.
