There is a waitlist though.

Guitar legend Bobby Rush celebrates his 90th birthday this fall, and as you can probably imagine, a live show from him is no common feat.

Chances of you finding a ticket to Rush's Thursday, Jan. 19 show in Safety Harbor, however, are pretty slim, since the gig is sold-out (there is a waitlist).

Rush was recently featured on his dear friend, Buddy Guy’s latest album The Blues Don’t Lie, via a tune called “What’s Wrong With That,” which is basically the two blues shredders asking why they should be ashamed of their preferences in life, like how they want their steaks cooked, or just liking what they like in general.

Hopefully, Rush will open for Guy on his farewell tour this year, but in the meantime, local legend Selwyn Birchwood opens for this seemingly once-in-a-lifetime gig at SHAMC.
