Chief Keef's Baychella show at The Ritz Ybor has been postponed

A new date has not been set.

My former editor, Jay Cridlin of the Tampa Bay Times, said it best when he reminded local hip-hop fans to “ bear in mind, [that Chief Keef] has canceled way more shows in Tampa Bay than he’s actually thrown.” So, it was with caution that we even mentioned this “Baychella” appearance from the 22-year-old Chicago rapper, who was a big reason the Windy City’s drill-rap sound ended up going coast-to-coast.

This would've been Mr. Keef’s first Bay area show if it happened, but the concert has been apparently postponed due to "travel issues."

"A new date has not been set, but an email will go out as soon as we get the rescheduled date," the Eventbrite page says.

Ticket refunds can be claimed at point of purchase.
