Clearwater-based singer-songwriter Cloe Wilder leans heavily on her acoustic guitar for bedroom-pop tunes that draw inspiration from the likes of Lana del Rey and Bon Iver.

“Afterglow,”
the 18-year-old’s recent collaboration with friend Sam Nicolosi, even sounds like it could have been a lost third song that Bon Iver worked on with Taylor Swift during the folklore and evermore eras.

This homecoming show is Wilder’s first since closing off a U.S. tour opening for Charlotte Sands, and there’s currently no opener on the bill.

Tickets to see Cloe Wilder play Crowbar in Ybor City on Friday, April 19 are still available for $15.
