Anuel AA is the big, Spanish-speaking name bringing some sabor to the Bay area live music lineup this week, but don’t overlook Aterciopelados.

The Latin Grammy-winning trio from Colombia has long been fusing the music of their home country with rock to great effect, and on Thursday frontwoman Andrea Echeverri, bassist Hector Buitrago and drummer Mauricio Montenegro bring a socially conscious message and 2018 album, Claroscura, to Ybor City for a headlining set.

Aterciopelados. Thurs. July 18, 7 p.m. $30-$45. Orpheum, Ybor City. eventbrite.com.
