Connor Zwetsch to headline Friends of Strays Adopt A Dog event October 15

A concert and costume party with free homemade dog biscuits from Locale Market

Connor Zwetsch is already one of the Tampa Bay songwriter scene's brightest lights, but her upcoming appearance at Sundial in St. Petersburg, Florida this weekend is going to be a little ruff.

DO THIS: ADOPT A DOG (MUSIC BY CONNOR ZWETSCH)

Why? Because the Tampa-based songsmith is headlining Friends of Strays's shelter pup adoption event on Saturday, and your furry friend is going to be glad to know that Locale Market is giving away homemade dog biscuits while they last.

No one is going to judge a human for taking a taste of the biscuit either. If you're not into biscuits, then know that Ruth's Chris Steak House & Sea Salt St. Pete are also giving free puppy-tinis to diners (puppy-tini is a beef and vegetable meatball).

The event is also a pet costume party that benefits the organization whose primary goal is to stop the reproduction of homeless cats and dogs by providing services like daily care, sterilization and temporary shelter to the most needy section of our pet population, the homeless animals of Pinellas County, until adoption of the pet can be arranged.
