Corrections for tonight: Afroman canceled; Rocky Votolato plays Orlando, not Ybor; Tech N9ne and crew not coming at all

Somehow, I managed to miss getting these corrections into the paper before it went to print this week. All of them happen to fall on today — Thursday, October 28.

Afroman canceled tonight's stop at Orpheum in Ybor City due to a health scare involving his newborn baby daughter. And the Tech N9ne show that was supposed to come through State Theatre in St. Petersburg this evening, isn't. Not sure exactly when this show became a non-show, but I regret to inform those of you who made plans to see either of the indie rap artists that neither of them are, in fact, coming here.

And finally, the Rocky Votolato show with Ha Ha Tonka that was supposed to rock New World Brewery was moved to a venue in another town entirely — Backbooth in downtown Orlando. If you like the Seattle-based singer-songwriter — and there's plenty of reasons why you should, believe me — then it might be worth your while to make the drive. The show is 8 p.m.; tickets are $14.
