When country superstar Thomas Rhett announced dates for his "Long Hot Summer" tour set for 2020, there was a mega-size show in Tampa on his itinerary. Rhett was coming off a big year in 2019: releasing hit album Life Changes in September, touring behind the album, and taping an appearance on “Sesame Street” with his whole family, but COVID had other plans for the tour, which finally goes off this weekend.

Thomas Rhett w/Cole Swindell/Gabby Barrett. Saturday, Sept. 4, 430 p.m. $54.25 & up. MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, Tampa.
