Have you ever heard of punk-country? Well if you’re truly curious, you can check out Dirty Rotten Snake in the Grass at the Paper Crane this Sunday, whose name does justice to its unique genre. The punk-meets-honky tonk outfit started out busking on the streets of New Orleans in 2012, and is now touring the southeast, promoting their latest album The Devil’s Favorite One, which dropped last year. Local support on this Sunday night bill comes from St. Pete multi-instrumentalist Mountain Holler and Gulfport-based folk trio The Wandering Hours.
Dirty Rotten Snake in the Grass, The Wandering Hours, Mountain Holler. Sun. Dec., 15. 6 p.m. $10. Paper Crane, 910B 5th Ave N. More Info.
