Hank Williams Jr.
Mr. “Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound”—aka Hank Williams Jr.—was only three years old when his legendary father died on New Year’s Day 1953, and he went on to make a name for himself, while still following in dad’s footsteps.

Junior is out promoting his 54th studio album, Rich White Honky Blues, at his first Tampa show since a Busch Gardens concert some five odd years ago. Just don’t bring Joe Biden up, OK?

Old Crow Medicine Show—who helped close out the 2022 Clearwater Jazz Holiday last fall—and Little Rock-based singer-songwriter JD Clayton open.

Tickets to see Hank Williams Jr. play MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, on Friday, May 19 are still available and start at $29.50.Subscribe to Creative Loafing newsletters.
