Eminem's Recovery poised to be 2010's highest sales debut

Well, Recovery is quite fitting for notorious Detriot rapper, Eminem.  Aside from his resilient jump out of prescription drug addiction, it seemed just a few months ago this album was in a state of limbo. Many debated if Em's next release would be just be a set of b-sides from his last album, Relapse, entitled Relapse 2 or another full-blown album.  Well, Eminem amassed enough material and decided to go the whole-new-album route.

Good thing.  Recovery is now poised to sell anywhere between 590 and 615 thousand copies in its debut.  This will out the 2010 record of 503 thousand set by Sade's Soldier of Love back in February.

Now, will it beat the 608 thousand Relapse nabbed back in May, 2009?

We'll keep you posted.
