Emo Night Tampa is back at the Bricks in Ybor City on Saturday, with the Crate Brothers—aka Theo Severson and Chris Wood—spinning all the sad rock your little black heart can stand. Psych-pop band Story Mode (which has a February-release Shabby Chic that reminds me a little of Wolf Parade’s Apologies to the Queen Mary) and the mysteriously trippy Glaze take the stage at 11 p.m.

Emo Night’s merchandise game is always top notch, so bring cash if you need new wears. You can also catch Severson and Wood late Thursday night (or early Friday morning) from midnight-2 a.m. when Emo Night airs on community radio station 88.5-FM WMNF
