There have been countless times where I have bought records and have paid for live shows on a whim, based on the name of the band alone. The Florida Bjorkestra is one of those bands. The talented, rotating ensemble of more than 20 of the best local Tampa Bay performers has paid tribute to groundbreaking artists covering the likes of David Bowie, Peter Gabriel, Kate Bush, and Bjork.
This time the troupe brings its stunning live performance to The Palladium Theater with “Joni Hearts Nick,” featuring the music of Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake. Every show is different, complete with strings, horns, and a full-on rock and roll experience.
