Florida industrial-metal band Genitorturers had somewhat of a hometown show last week with support from Nine Inch Nails tribute act Wish (stylized “WISH.”) Infamous for its bondage and latex-driven image, Genitorturers thrives in the duality of its catchy, hard-hitting rock melodies and the shock it delivers on songs like “Touch Myself” and “Cum Junkie.” Although it hasn’t released an album in 10 years, Genitortuers is still riding the wave of its 2009 release Blackheart Revolution.

Genitorturers w/Wish. Thurs., Dec. 5. 8 p.m. Tickets range from $16-$35. Orpheum, 1915 E. 7th Ave., Ybor City. eventbrite.com
