Film scores, Broadway hits and symphonic favorites are on the docket for the Florida Orchestra this weekend when it stages two concerts under the baton of Daniel Black. The first happens on Saturday at St. Petersburg’s Vinoy Park, and Sunday finds the ensemble going across the bridge to play in the shadow of Sulphur Spring’s gorgeous, soon-to-get-a-makeover, River Tower. Bring canned goods to benefit Tampa Bay Harvest when you attend these free concerts.

Florida Orchestra: Pops in the Park. Sat. Oct. 19, 7 p.m. Vinoy Park, St. Petersburg and Sun. Oct. 20, 7 p.m. River Tower Park, Tampa. floridaorchestra.org.
