A new collaboration out of Orlando called The Crossfade—featuring rapper-vocalist E-Turn—starts its Florida mini-tour in Tampa with a Friday set at Hooch and Hive.

E-Turn’s emotional performances connect “the gap between gritty rap and soulful vocals” with influences ranging from Mos Def to Stevie Nicks. The emcee is backed by the fabulous funk, soul and R&B ensemble Leisure Chief, so you know things are going to get hot.
Best of the Bay-winning emcee Mike Mass and jazz trio Katara team up to fill out the stacked lineup with a Bay area band-MC combination to compliment Crossfade.
