With 43 days to go until it kicks off, Gasparilla Music Festival (GMF) has added more talent to its 2024 lineup. Today, GMF announced 16 more acts coming to downtown Tampa next month.

Leading today’s announcement is Grammy-winning Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, a Mississippi-based, guitarist who’s been called the future of the blues. The addition of the 24-year-old—who recently played headlining and festival sets in Clearwater—continues the festival’s tradition of bringing in fast-rising roots acts before they completely break out (Marcus King played in 2017).

Also added to the lineup are masked, melodic Tampa rapper Pusha Preme (whose 2023 GMF appearance got rained out), plus Bay area rap scene staple Aych, party-ready punk-rock band Pet Lizard, Tampa’s godfather of hip-hop DJ Sandman, saxophonist Zeta the Babe and more.

Nashville songwriter Kelsey Hickman and midwestern folk act Dawson Hallow are among the out-of-towner additions in today’s announcement, which included a daily lineup (see the full, updated daily GMF 2024 lineup below).
The additions come less than a month after GMF announced its initial 2024 lineup topped by indie-pop favorite Young The Giant, soulful Americana roots act Lake Street Dive, and livetronic hip-hop and jazz duo Big Gigantic.

GMF’s Executive Director David Cox told Creative Loafing Tampa Bay that one more round of artists would be announced alongside the full schedule.

Tickets for Gasparilla Music Festival happening Friday-Sunday, Feb. 16-18 at Tampa’s Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park are still available and start at $45.
