Ann and Nancy Wilson aren’t the only ones who made up Heart. On the sisters’ first six studio albums, drummer Mike Derosier and bassist Steve Fossen (yep, the one that did the original “Barracuda” lick) backed everything up.
And though Ann and Nancy are back together with a newish backing band, Derosier and Fossen have been helping keep Heart’s music alive since 2014 with their tribute band, Heart By Heart, which will be at Central Park Performing Arts Center on Feb. 11.
They even have two female lead singers joining their tribute in Largo. If I didn’t make myself clear, one of the singers in the band is Fossen’s wife Somar Macek, so Ann and Nancy Wilson will not be onstage in Largo.
