Riffs, riffs, and more riffs.
Get your ears ready to hear some of the best punk rock that Missiouri has to offer at Tampa’s Hooch and Hive this Friday. Hard rock trio Radkey headlines a night of post-punk and surf-rock, with support from Tampa Bay-based heavy-hitters JOYEATER and The Drain Outs.
New Noise Magazine compared Radkey’s sound to the likeness of Nirvana, so there’s no reason to miss its grungy, fuzzy riffs this Friday. Who doesn’t love rock that doesn’t take itself too seriously?
Radkey / JOYEATER / The Drain Outs. Fri., Jan. 17. 9 p.m. $10. Hooch and Hive, 1001 W Cass St., Tampa. hoochandhive.com
