Indie-pop trio AJR (pictured) has made plans to come back to Tampa for a July 24 concert at MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre.

Also on the bill is Detroit songwriter Quinn XCII, Frank Lopes Jr.’s Hobo Johnson and the Lovemakers, and Mom+Pop Music signee Ashlyn Willson (aka Ashe.)

The announcement should be good news for fans of AJR, but it also comes less than a year after the group canceled two Tampa Bay appearances (one at USF’s Bullstock, due to a booking conflict and another at 97X’s Next Big Thing because of Jack Met’s vocal issues.) In AJR’s defense, it did manage to play Yuengling Center last fall and 97X Next Big Thing in 2018.

Tickets to see AJR, Quinn XCIII, Hobo Johnson & the Lovemakers and Ashe at Tampa’s MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre on July 24 go on sale Monday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. EST via livenation.com.
