Yael Weiss has performed across the globe in venues like Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center, Benaroya Hall, Moscow’s Bolshoi Hall and London’s Wigmore Hall.
On Sunday the Israeli pianist is at the MFA in St. Pete to perform music from her 32 Bright Clouds project, which commissions composers from countries of conflict and unrest to perform new works unified by a “peace motif” from Beethoven. This program includes works from composers who call the Philippines, Ghana, Indonesia and more home.
