The heartthrob songwriter is currently in Detroit for the sixth date of a 19-stop solo tour, and it looks like a he's bringing a second leg of the run to Tampa.
Today, Amalie Arena took to social media to tease a Monday concert announcement with a photo featuring an empty silhouette—complete with feathered hair and an oversized blazer—on a concert stage.
Even to a Mayer-world newbie, it's obvious that the photo came from a recent tour promoting the songwriter's last album Sob Rock. I mean, just look at the cryptic post below and the photo Phil DeSimone took in Tampa during Mayer's lost stop in Tampa on April 6, 2022.

UPDATE: Our stupid mouths were right, and John Mayer is coming to Tampa on Oct. 13. Tickets to see him at Amalie Arena go on sale Friday, March 31.
The 45-year-old announced his solo tour back in January and will take it across the U.S. and even into Canada. Mayer already had a pair of one-off dates scheduled for late September in Hollywood, Florida, so we're guessing the Tampa dates could fall around that time.
In his initial announcement of the tour, Mayer said he knew he'd get an inkling to hit the road with just a microphone and a guitar again, but he ended up bringing a bunch of guitars, plus a piano for the run featuring songs old, new and unheard.
