Generally, Tampa's legendary Skipper’s Smokehouse hosts birthday tributes to rock stars who hit a multiple of five in age. But after the last two years, it’s completely understandable to have to make up for lost time.

John Fogerty turns 77 this weekend, and though he no longer speaks to the guys in Creedence Clearwater Revival (understandably), he’ll forever be associated with those songs.

On Saturday, May 28 starting at 6 p.m. community radio station WMNF has organized a host of local favorites—including the Chooglin’ Bayou Pickers, Bite Size, and Will Quinlan (pictured below), among others—to play the songs of CCR.

And all you Suzie Q-Anons will be relieved to know that masks are highly recommended, but not required for entry.
