This no-cover, 21 & up, gig is the perfect blend between indie-rock, and its much bigger and louder cousin, punk-rock. Jacksonville-based band Friendly Fire is the out-of-towner this time around and is supported by Tampa Bay’s finest noise-pop act Broken Things and Nervous Girls, which plays “indie-rock that is equal parts ethereal shoegaze and angular dissonance.”

Broken Things and The Nervous Girls are co-headlining shows all over Florida together, including upcoming dates in Jacksonville and Gainesville. Friendly Fire w/Broken Things/Nervous Girls. Fri. Feb 28, 10 p.m. No cover. The Bends, St. Petersburg. INFO
