The brother of James Taylor also happens to be one of America’s most poignant songwriters, having spent 55 years in the music industry so far.
In the latter half of the 2010s, Livingston Taylor has had a documentary, a box set, a new album, and his own mayor-declared day in Boston. Not to mention his ongoing career as a professor at Berklee College of Music, having taught the likes of John Mayer and Charlie Puth.
Along with children-centered singer-songwriter Tom Chapin, Taylor will perform at the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre in downtown Clearwater, a few nights after Janis Ian does the same.
If you really want a treat, drive out to Ft. Lauderdale the day before, and see all three of them together.
