Jazz band La Lucha likes to pay tribute to the 80s, whenever it gets a chance. The trio’s last album Everybody Wants to Rule the World puts a jazzy spin on the Tears for Fear hit and includes an arrangement of Patrick Swayze’s “She’s Like the Wind” that you never knew you needed.

For this one at Palladium’s big room, vocalists Ona Kirei and Rochelle Siddiq join trumpeter James Suggs to help with the nostalgia. Since the pandemic is sadly far from over, the Palladium is ensuring “This is a limited-seating, socially distanced, and no-intermission event designed for maximum safety and comfort.” Though masks are not required for vaxxed people, you probably want to get yours out.
