Listen: New track from Tame Impala, "'Cause I'm a Man"

Release date on new album, Currents still forthcoming

Tame Impala, the beloved darling psychedelic rock project from Down Under helmed by multi-instrumental singer-songwriter Kevin Parker, has been working on new material and have so far leaked the seven-plus epic "Let It Happen."

Today, Parker & Co. have not only unleashed the first "official" single, "'Cause I'm a Man" that, along with "Let it Happen," will appear on the band's forthcoming third LP, but have revealed the title of said LP: Currents. Both songs were originally drafted out in planes, cars, hotels and homes following the completion of and tour behind 2012's well-regarded Lonerism, and were both written, performed, recorded, produced and mixed by Parker in Fremantle, Western Australia. The track sees its official release on Tues., April 7 through Interscope. No word yet on an official release date for Currents.

Take a listen to the falsetto cooing vocals and meandering instrumentals of "'Cause I'm A Man" below, and get excited...
