Listen to Rocko English's new EP before the Orlando band plays Planet Retro Records in St. Petersburg

Everything is more than fine, now.

Experimental punk-rock outfit Hexproof plays host when a new St. Petersburg band (Bulgarian glam-slam trio Liquid Pennies) plays its second show ever before an Orlando export — Rocko English — brings its brief but brawny catalog of jagged, scruffed-up indie rock for this show in downtown St. Pete’s fringe district. Fans have spent the last year living off of Rocko English’s Great Rates EP, but a new single (“everything’s fine,” released last month) is giving us hope for a full-length sometime soon.

UPDATE: Rocko English put out a new EP, The Adventures of Indentured Dan , on June 29, and that's good enough for us.

Rocko English w/Hexproof/Liquid Pennies, Planet Retro Records, 226 Martin Luther King St. N., St. Petersburg, $5.
