If you love going to the big shows at Tampa's MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre, then we've got some news for you.
Today, Billboard shared that Live Nation will be offering a single pass to get fans into participating amphitheaters throughout the 2019 season. The first-ever "Live Nation Lawn Pass" is being offered at 29 venues owned and/or operated by the promoter, including that shed Bay area concert goers used to call the Gary.
Prices for the passes are $99 to $399 depending on the venue, and it's $299 for the one that grants access to MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre's green space.
Only one person can use the pass (ID required, duh), and it is not valid for special events, third party rentals or festivals (think: this weekend's 97X Next Big Thing). What's more is that the Live Nation Lawn Passes do not provide access to reserved lawn access or VIP areas (although pass holders can upgrade their ticket on show day, based on availability, through the Live Nation app).
The pass will, however, work for sold-out shows. Even with fees, concert junkies can more than get their money's worth on this one, especially at a venue like MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre where weather allows for a longer outdoor concert season.
For now, just Ozzy Osbourne (June 2) plus Train and the Goo Goo Dolls (July 7) are booked, but that's bound to change in time.
Live Nation Lawn Pass sales start on December 4 at 10 a.m. PDT (that's 1 p.m. EDT, folks). CL is waiting to hear from the venue regarding how many will actually be sold for MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre and whether or not there are any ADA options.
The pass includes a personalized credential (remember, you'll still need ID), free lawn chair rental (based on availability), Fast Lane Entry (depending on availability) and access to ticket offers for the pass holder's family and friends.
If you plan to buy one as a gift, you'll need the recipient's name, date of birth, email address, and phone number at the time of purchase. See the full list of participating venues via lawnpass.livenation.com.
