Up-and-coming local death metal rockers Sledgegrinder hit the State Theatre stage recently as a support act for fellow death metal band The Absence. Sledgegrinder is Alex Gallego (vocals), Brad Balsama (guitar), Mike Longo (guitar, vocals), Nathan Dahlvik (bass) and Matthew Solka (drums).
