You should never pass up an opportunity to tell someone — be it a stranger or friend — that they are not alone and that you are ready to hear them out if they feel suicidal.

On Friday, a handful of Bay area hardcore bands (plus Port St. Lucie’s Heavy Hitter) will do just that when they donate half of the proceeds from this benefit show to the Tampa Bay chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Black Clash w/Jolly Fuckers/Vomit Sawdust/Human Error/Heavy Hitter. Fri., Aug. 9. 8 p.m. $10. The Blue Note, Tampa. INFO.
