Last night for a very lucky crowd inside Mahaffey Theater, 1990s college rock icons Hootie and the Blowfish played a rare show to celebrate the Southeastern release of their new beer, Hootie's Homegrown Ale.

The brew is a collaboration between Rock Bros. Brewing and Cigar City Brewing from Tampa, plus Palmetto Brewery in the Hootster's home state of South Carolina. Tickets were free for winners of a sweepstakes.
